ALUMINUM COMPOSITE MATERIAL : ALPOLIC
ALPOLIC is an aluminum composite material (ACM) that's produced by bonding two thin sheets of aluminum on either side of an extruded thermoplastic core. The aluminum surfaces have been prefinished and coil-coated in a variety of paint finishes before lamination. ALPOLIC offers the rigidity of heavy-gauge sheet metal in a lightweight aluminum-faced composite material. It also features such attributes as superior flatness, vibration dampening, durability and ease of maintenance.
ALPOLIC offers you both polyester and fluorocarbon (FEVE) MEGAFLON finishes. MEGAFLON is a high performance, second generation fluorocarbon finish that offers bright, vibrant colors, multiple gloss levels and other distinct advantages.
ALPOLIC comes in three thicknesses: 3mm, 4mm, 6mm and in a variety of widths up to 62".
ALPOLIC is produced by Mitsubishi Chemical America, Inc. (MCA) Composite Materials Division. MCA produces ALPOLIC in Chesapeake, Virginia at the most sophisticated composite panel manufacturing facility in America.
